Hotel in the process of shutting down when we arrived which came as a shock to us and other clientele. Whole place is tired and tatty and the extra curricular activities were less than hoped for and the entertainment very limited. Very little atmosphere.
I can now see why this hotel is 4 star. There are certain elements which could be revisited and get the wow factor. I understand it’s going to close for seven months for refurbishment and hopefully promote them into the five star category. The rooms were good but the pillows should be classed into soft/ medium and hard categories.The she…
