3/5A 3* Hotel with improvement needed to be a 4* resort1 Jul 26

We just returned from an 8 night break staying at the Mirador Papagayo. The location was great, quiet and peaceful, well located for families and a short walk down to the marina where there's a lovely sandy beach (Playa Dorada) and lots of shops, restaurants. We are a family of four, with two kids and had the all inclusive stay. We're veg…

4/5Great stay despite some negatives1 Jul 26

Stayed here with our 6 year old, 4 year old and 6 month old. We had a double sea view room and our view was stunning. Waking up to that every morning was amazing. The rooms were basic, it is what it is we don’t spend much time in the room but we did find quite a lot of weird tiny bugs and our terrace area had lots of ants (the ants didn…

3/5Don’t bother1 Jul 26

Every other plate in the restaurant was dirty. We told them and again nothing changed. From the time we got here everything is just a shambles. There is n…

5/5We will be back a fourth time!1 Jul 26

3rd time back, in 4 years didn’t go last year. Feel a lot of improvements have been made in that time and food was superb. Animation team with the kids better than ever! We went as a group of 7 this time and everyone loved it. I see a lot of criticism for the location, but that’s one of my favourite things about the hotel it’s very q…

4/5Great family hotel – we'd definitely stay again!1 Jul 26

We stayed here for 7 nights as a family of four with our 9 and 7-year-old children, and overall we were really impressed. We would definitely return. Our standard family room was much more spacious than expected. It was almost like a self-catering apartment, with a kitchen area, two large sofa beds for the kids in the living area, and tw…
